Fatal Farming Accident in Coshocton County

COSHOCTON COUNTY, Ohio–The Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a farming accident that claimed the life of an infant.

It happened just before 8:00 p.m. Tuesday on Twp. Rd. 50.

Authorities said upon arrival of emergency personnel it was found that a 1-year-old child was injured during the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

This incident remains under investigation and no other information is being released at this time.

Assisting at the scene was the Walhonding Valley Fire Dept., Coshocton County EMS, and the Coshocton County Coroner’s Office.
