Fatal Lawn Mowing Accident in Licking County

Authorities say a Licking County woman has died following a lawn mowing accident.

The Licking County Sheriff’s Office reports that Jane Kennedy was found dead just before 11:30 a.m. Monday in a field behind her residence on Loches Road in St. Louisville.

Deputies say a relative found Kennedy pinned underneath the steering wheel of her rolled over lawn tractor.

Authorities say it appears she had been deceased for sometime, possibly since Saturday afternoon.

Family members confirmed to authorities that Kennedy had planned to mow her grass on Saturday.

The incident remains under investigation.
