Fatal motorcycle crash in Muskingum County

Zanesville, OH- On June 10, 2026, at 6:43 p.m. the Zanesville Post received a report of a motorcycle crash on Interstate Route 70 near milepost 157. The driver was identified as Cruize Bitler, 20, of Zanesville. Bitler was traveling east on Interstate Route 70 and lost control of the motorcycle. He traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. Bitler was pronounced deceased at the scene. The Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office, Washington Township Fire and EMS, and the Ohio Department of Transportation assisted with management of the scene. The crash remains under investigation.
