Financial help for higher education

ZANESVILLE Ohio- Ohio University of Zanesville and Zane State College will be offering information on how students can save money and earn college credit while still in high school.

Spokesperson Christine Shaw said the event will help students and their families enroll in College Credit Plus as well as understand how to be successful in the program.

“We want them to look at, are they prepared academically, are they prepared emotionally, and to help them get to that point and feel confident in it,” said Shaw.

Shaw said she doesn’t want the secret to success to be a secret. She said this event can help point students in the right direction.

“So they are making sure they are taking the right ones for their eventual goals in what they hope to do after they graduate college. So the idea behind College Credit Plus is to cut off time when you actually go to college so that you have less expenses,” said Shaw.

The event will be held at the Campus Center at the Zanesville Campus on Wednesday, April 4th from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. To RSVP call Shaw at 740-588-1565.
