It happened 6987 Elm Street Saturday morning.  A neighbor tells Whiz News that around 8:00 am he heard a loud boom and then about 5 minutes later the structure was fully engulfed in flames.  The neighbor says he ran to the trailer home and kicked in the front door and made sure there was no one inside and once he did that he called the fire department.  Newton Township Fire Chief Allen Deaver says his fire fighters arrived on the scene in six or seven minutes and found the home fully engulfed in flames.  He says the cause remains under investigation.  The South Zanesville Fire Department and the Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
