Flags to be Flown at Half Staff

 Governor John Kasich issued an order that all flags are be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset Thursday. 

Thursday, September 11 is Patriot Day in honor of the lives lost in the terrorist attacks that occurred on that day in 2001. 

In addition, he asks all Ohioans to observe a moment of silence at 8:46a.m.

13 years ago the terrorist attacks claimed the lives of approximately three thousand men, women and children. Kasich said he urges all Ohioans to observe Patriot Day and the National Day of Service and Remembrance with appropriate ceremonies, activities and remembrance services to honor the victims of the attacks.
