Florafino’s Flowers and Gifts has your back this Mother’s Day

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – With Mother’s Day around the corner, a Zanesville-based florist offers a wide array of timely gifts.

Forafino’s Flowers and Gifts, located at 1416 Maple Avenue, has flowers, balloons, chocolates and more for Mom’s big day. Jessica Tysinger is the owner of Florafino’s and highlights the specials available through Sunday.

“We have 3 specials again this year for Mother’s Day,” Tysinger said. “Our most favorite is one that we’ve titled ‘Best Mom Ever,’ and it’s full of pinks and whites and just fun pastels. A very full arrangement, kind of has a garden look to it and I think all the moms will definitely love that one.”

For those who are last-minute shoppers or forgetful until the last minute, Florafino’s will be open for extended hours to make sure Mom isn’t left empty-handed.

“Saturday, we’ll stay open much past noon. We’ll be here, you know, just until everyone’s done celebrating their moms, probably until 5 p.m. on Saturday,” Tysinger said. “We’ll probably be open Sunday as well, as long as we still have flowers left. Which, we’ve stocked up even more this year with our hanging baskets and patio pots here at the shop. So don’t forget about those. But yeah, hopefully there’s time to still get out and it’s a nice day. ”

Florafino’s has also brought back its Supermom tradition to its storefront windows. You can drop off a photo of you and your mother, or post the picture on the Facebook post for the competition. Each photo submitted will be hung in store windows and have a chance to win the title of Supermom, plus free flowers and gifts.
