ZANESVILLE, OH – A local flower shop is looking to give back to its customers in a big way this weekend.

On Saturday, Oct. 25th, from 9AM until 1PM Florafino’s Flowers and Gifts will be rolling out the red carpet for their Customer Appreciation Day.

Jessica Tysinger, the Owner and Designer of Florafino’s, says last year’s event was a great success and they’re hoping to get over 300 people through their doors this time.

“Each year we work with, we try to pick a veterans group to work with, and not only show our appreciation to our customers that have supported and shown their loyalty to us throughout the year,” Tysinger explained. “but also give a percentage of those sales right back to the veterans here in Muskingum County.”

Tysinger says this year they have chosen the Veteran’s Appreciation Foundation to receive some funds from this event.

She says the Veteran’s Appreciation Foundation will be out front with a Military Jeep for everyone to come and check out.

“We wouldn’t be able to do this event without the customers so it’s just a blessing.” Tysinger said. “To just be able to give, any little bit helps to give back and the customers know that some of that’s going there, so they feel good also too, about coming that day and supporting them as well.”

Tysinger also says because they had such a good response last year with donations, they are bringing back their toboggan tree.

She says you can bring in any new hats, scarves, or gloves and they will take those donations to the Elementary schools in December.
