Food truck rally

ZANESVILLE, Ohio- Approximately 15 different food trucks will give people a variety of food options.

The Zanesville Jaycees will hold its 3rd annual spring food truck rally. Board Member Mike Fulmer said there will be nearly every type of food a person could ask for. He said an event like this gets people out of their normal routine.

“You always hear people say there’s nothing to do in Zanesville. This is something to do this weekend. We have food trucks coming from all over the state. We’ve got everything from barbecue to pizza to Chinese,” said Fulmer.

Fulmer said the event is free and open to the public. He said the only thing people will need to pay for is the food. Fulmer said the money the Jaycees raises from this event, goes right back into the community.

“We make our money off of the vendor fees that we charge the trucks to come down and set. We get a number of donation request and project request throughout the year. We use this as a way to raise money to distribute funds back into the community,” said Fulmer.

The food truck rally will be Saturday May 19th from 11:00 in the morning to 7:00 in the evening at Zane’s Landing Park.
