Forever Dads hosts annual Legacy of Fatherhood

Zanesville, Ohio- One local organization honored fathers today.
Forever Dads hosted their 6th annual Legacy of Fatherhood ceremony at North Terrace Church of Christ. Master of Ceremonies, James McDonald, describes the importance and role of Forever Dads.
“Forever Dads is an organization that equips educate and encourages men to have and develop positive relationships with their children. Father absence is epidemic in our community, it’s responsible for so many problems. You wanna solve the drug epidemic, have fathers parent their children with their mothers in our communities.”
McDonald says the ceremony honored several outstanding fathers tonight.
“This tribute to fatherhood honors men who have been good fathers and also contributed significantly in our community. This is our 6th year and we honor five men who have been outstanding dads in our community. It brings about 500 people and raises about 20,000 dollars for Forever Dads.”
The five dads that were honored: Robert Bumpus, Carroll Fink, James Gaiters, Hugh Maxwell and Mike Lutz.
