ForeverDads Hosts All-Star Dad Day

One organization is working to keep the relationship between father and child strong and growing.

Foreverdads hosted their ‘All-Star Dads Day’ today. It featured a Ninja Run, food catered by Dave’s Grillin’ and other activities for kids to enjoy with dad. Event Coordinator Doug Gates said that relationship can change the outlook of a child’s life.

“First of all, it creates a wonderful role model for the kids,” said Gates. “If the kids can see that their fathers are engaged they’re more [likely] to grow up and being in their kids and so on and so forth. So I think that’s kind of the main thing is to create that bond. ”

Dad, Chad Campbell said that he is thankful for the opportunity to spend the day with his son.

“It’s just an opportunity to spend some time with my son, ” said Campbell. “[I want to say] Thanks Burl and Foreverdads, we’re having a good time. ”
