Former Firefighter Pleads Guilty In Court

The former assistant fire chief of the Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department appeared in court Monday facing multiple charged and entered a plea. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says 28-year-old Adam Siddle plead guilty to all 16 counts against him including theft, money laundering, telecommunications fraud and forgery. The charges stemmed from a six month investigation by authorities that revealed the theft of nearly one million dollars. Common Please Judge Mark Fleegle ordered a pre-sentence investigation and continued Siddle’s bond at 500-thousand dollars.
