Former John Glenn standout commits to IPFW

NEW CONCORD, Ohio – Former John Glenn basketball standout Matt Weir announced on twitter that he’s leaving the Air Force Academy and has committed to IPFW.

During his first year out in Colorado, Weir averaged 18 points per game and six assists.  He also shot 89% from the free-throw line en route to a 19-8 record on the season.

The Fort Wayne Mastodons compete in the Summit League and made it to the quarterfinal round of the CIT this past season.
