Former Z-ville City Council Member Dies

A former Zanesville City Council member has died. 94-year-old Mary Reavley died Sunday at her home. Reavley was a member of Council for 12 years retiring in January of 1992. She was very active in the community serving on the board of the United Way, the Muskingum County Senior Services Advisory Council and the Senior Bethesda Hospital League for 33 years to name just a few. Reavley was the co-owner and operator of the Roy Theater in New Concord. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday at the Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Zanesville Memorial Park Cemetery.
