Four Stores to Soon Open at Northpointe Center

ZANESVILLE, OH – A few more additions are making their way to the Northpointe Center in Zanesville.

After acquiring the property last year, Highland Capital has taken the occupancy of the shopping center from 30 to 95 percent.

Four stores are planning for openings here in the coming months and Wyatt Woeltje, the Principal of Highland Capital, said they’re thrilled to be bringing them here.

“I think it’ll make a very positive impact. I mean, this is a big chunk of Zanesville,” Woeltje said. “It’s one of the most prominent shopping centers in the town. The fact that it sat empty for so long, being such a new development, it’s less than 20 years old.”

Four stores will soon be moving in with two of them opening in April, Carters and Bealls. Academy Sport is planning for a May opening and Ulta Beauty is still under construction.

Woeltje said it feels good to fill this shopping center with places for the community to visit.

“It also makes these retailers feel good about keeping our relationships with them going and it allows us to move onto the next project,” Woeltje said. “So, this is what we do, we do it everywhere in the country, and us being able to perform very well and perform successfully makes us feel good.”
