Four Taken to Hospital After Accident
A accident on the West Pike Thursday afternoon sent four people to the hospital.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. in front of the old Yoder’s Market.
Sgt. Chuck Merryman with the Zanesville Post of the State Highway Patrol says a mini-van and Jeep Liberty were both traveling west on U.S. Route 40 when the mini-van made an improper lane change forcing both vehicles off the side of the road.
A driver and passenger in each vehicle were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with minor injuries.
The accident is under investigation, Sgt. Merryman says it’s likely the mini-van driver will be cited for an improper lane change.
