Frazeysburg Man Wins Big in Lottery

A Frazeysburg man and his wife celebrate a very happy holiday thanks to a big lottery win. 

Russell Proffit earned a $500,000 payoff after he scratched the "Lucky Playbook." His wife Cheryl began screaming when he scratched the ticket, but Russell didn’t believe it until he had the ticket verified. 

After mandatory federal and state taxes totaling 29 percent, the Profitts receive $355,000. Proffit purchased the ticket from the Humidor in Newark. The store will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling a top prize winning ticket.
