Frederick Newton Dunn (April 1, 1944 – October 21, 2011)

Frederick Newton Dunn, 67, of Crooksville passed away on Friday October 21, 2011 at The Ohio State University Hospital.

Fred was born in Crooksville on April 1, 1944 to the late Frederick Newton and Velma Hinkle Dunn. Fred was a Truck Driver for Martin Trucking in Tomah, Wisconsin, A member of Roseville American Legion Post 71, and he served our country and protected our freedom by serving in the US Army.

Fred is survived by his wife Mary Ann Hutchison Dunn of the home, three sons Scott Dunn of Coshocton, Craig Allen Lee of Cambridge, and Glenn Michael Wion of Chillicothe. Two daughters Amy Jo Mullen of Pennsylvania and Misty Kay Wion of Crooksville. Two sisters Marilyn Lahota of Avon Lake and Brenda Snider of Gratiot. Six grandchildren: Brittany Nicole Bell, Joshua Slater, Daniel Slater, Jericho Lee, Callie Lee, and Wesley Youngalez.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Betty Lou Crum, and a brother Benney Joe Kelly.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.

Calling hours will be 2-4 & 6-8 Tuesday October 25 at THE CROOKSVILLE CHAPEL OF THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 207 BURLEY STREET, CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Wednesday with Rev.
