Free Cat Adoption Day

The animal shelter is excited to announce their special cat adoption event.

This Saturday, the animal shelter will be having a "Free Cat Adoption Day." The first 30 people to come into the animal shelter to adopt a cat will be walking away with their new fur-friend, free of charge.

"We’ve had a couple sponsors step forward for us, we love pets and Attorney Sherry Ryan are covering adoption fees for the first 30 cats on this Saturday. So, if you’ve been thinking about a cat it’s a great opportunity to come in. That includes, the cat will be up to date on shots, will have had it’s surgery, will be micro chipped, the cat will be ready to go."

There is also a new item for sale at the animal shelter, a 2015 calendar loaded with pictures and upcoming events.

"We currently have a fundraiser going on, it’s a shelter calendar and it’s some pictures of cats and dogs that have come through the shelter, some adoptions and just some happy stories. And, we’ve had a volunteer that’s done some of the picture taking for us, the photography. So, we put all that together and we have a calendar available, its $12."

All proceeds made will go directly back to the animal shelter to help support adoptions and activities.
