Gas main replacement project on Maysville Avenue

The City of Zanesville and the Ohio Department of Transportation are working with Columbia
Gas to assist them with meeting a regulatory deadline for a gas main replacement along Maysville
Avenue (US 22).

In order for Columbia Gas to meet their deadline, they have requested that the
City of Zanesville and the Ohio Department of Transportation close a section of (US 22).

Maysville Avenue (US 22) will be closed to traffic from Seborn Avenue to Woodlawn Avenue beginning
Wednesday, March 23, through Saturday, March 26, to allow for the replacement of an 8-inch gas
main by Columbia Gas.

The northbound detour will be SR 719 to SR 60. The work has been coordinated with the I-70 reconstruction project such that northbound SR 60 will not be restricted during this closure of Maysville Avenue. The southbound detour will be Putnam Avenue to Moxahala Avenue to SR 719.
