George Fredrick Barnhart (March 27, 1942 – January 14, 2010)

George Fredrick Barnhart, 67 of Zanesville, passed away Thursday January 14, 2010 at Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital.

George was born in Ironton Ohio on March 27, 1942 to the late John Nathanial and Dorothy Jane Butler Barnhart. His love was his children and grandchildren.

George is survived by daughters Carrie Lynn, Rose, and Karen Sue; brothers Harold (Judy) Barnhart of Zanesville, Gerald (Theresa) Barnhart of Zanesville, Richard “Tip” (Mary) Barnhart of Hopewell; sisters Mildred Coleman of Frazeysburg, Dorothy (Tom) Scott of Gratiot, Wanda Barnhart of Athens, and Deloris Gordon of Lancaster; grandchildren Brandy, Renee, and Bobby.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother John Edward Barnhart, brothers-in-law Elmer Coleman and Melvin Gordon, and infant twins brother and sister John and Hilda Barnhart.

No calling hours will be observed and a cremation will take place. THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 West Military Road, Zanesville has the distinct honor of serving the Barnhart family.
