Geraldine M. Scurlock

ZANESVILLE
Geraldine M. Scurlock, 87, of Zanesville, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017. Geraldine was born in Zanesville on September 18, 1929 to the late Dan and Edna Stephenson Chambers. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 25 years and Methodist by faith.
Geraldine is survived by her son, Ronald (Betsy) Scurlock Jr. of Dresden; a daughter, Dianna Rouan of Nashport; a sister, Mary Chaffin of Arizona; three grandchildren: Kyle (Stacy) Scurlock of Dresden, Kendra Scurlock (Lance Patton) of Dresden and Jenna (Kurt) Fell of Nashport; five great grandchildren: Allison Marie Scurlock, Colton James Scurlock, Landon Hugh Patton, Cody Edward Fell and Caden Jennings Fell; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Ronald Scurlock; four brothers: DeForest “Buster” Chambers, Ted Chambers, Donald Chambers and Rev. Walter Chambers; and two sisters: Loretta June and Shirley.
Calling hours will be held 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD, ZANESVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Friday, April 21, 2017 in the Snouffer Chapel with Phil Walker officiating. Burial will follow in Zanesville Memorial Park.
