GLADYS J. PLETCHER (February 26, 1929 – February 24, 2011)

Gladys J. Pletcher, 81, of Indiana Street, Zanesville, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family at 2:45 PM on Thursday, February 24, 2011.
Gladys was born February 26, 1929 in Cannelville to the late John Jones Jr. and Dora Dozer Longstreth. She was employed by McCoy Pottery in Roseville for many years.
Surviving are her children, her sons Cyril (Bud) Pletcher Jr of Waterford, Ohio and Gary and Nancy Pletcher of Zanesville. Her daughters Edie Novaria of Duncan Falls and Diana Kennedy of Zanesville. Her brother Danny and Cory Longstreth of Louisa, Kentucky. Gladys had many grandchildren, many great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her father of her children Cyril Pletcher Sr. A sister Georgianna Walker and a great great granddaughter.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, March 5, 2011, at 3 pm in Rosehill Cemetery with the Rev Marc Caton officiating. Thompson Farus Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
