Going Out For New Year’s Eve
Local bars are shining glasses and setting up decorations to get ready for one of the biggest party nights of the year.
The Barn’s owner, Bill Steed, says he’s expecting a full crowd for Thursday’s New Year’s Eve party and because there will be a blue moon out Thursday night, The Barn is also throwing a blue moon party. Steed says New Year’s Eve is all about the celebration.
"It’s getting to celebrate a new year, it is a chance to try to correct everything from last year you weren’t happy with and try to start a new year and it is just refreshing I think," says Steed.
Over at Buffalo Wild Wings, DJ Steppenwolf is setting up for a rocking night. The Buffalo Wild Wings manager says there will be no cover New Year’s Eve night for patrons and there will be a special surprise at midnight.
"At midnight we give champagne out so it is a lot of fun, it is very interesting that’s for sure, people are very excited," says Buffalo Wild Wings waitress Megan Jadwin.
Staff at both The Barn and Buffalo Wild Wings say the new year is about new beginnings and that is something to celebrate.
