Governor DeWine Announces Opening Dates for Bars/Restaurants and Hair Salons/Barbershops

Governor Mike DeWine on Thursday announced the opening dates for dine-in restaurants and bars. He also announced opening dates for hair salons and barber shops.
On May 15th bars and restaurants can serve customers on their outdoor patios and outside dining locations. On May 21st inside service for meals can begin with six-foot social distancing between tables.
The Governor says servers will have to wear face masks, while the cooks and some other employees will be exempt. Customers may also be asked to wear masks.
Hair salons/Barbershops can open May 15th.
DeWine said this next phase of reopening is a gamble, if we relax and take things for granted, things will not go the way we want them to go. We don’t want to see a spike and be forced to decide if we pull back again on the economy. The Governor said what we do today will determine where this state goes. This is all in our hands.
