Granville OSHP Announces OVI Checkpoint Tonight
GRANVILLE, Ohio– The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol announced that an OVI checkpoint will be taking place Friday night in Pataskala.
The checkpoint will be held on State Route 16 near Park Street from 10:00 P.M. to 12:00 A.M.
The OVI checkpoint, funded by federal grant funds, is planned to deter and intercept impaired drivers.
The checkpoints will also be held in conjunction with nearby saturation patrols to aggressively combat impaired driver-related injury and fatal crashes.
If you plan to consume alcohol, designate a driver or make other travel arrangements before you drink.
