Groundbreaking at National Road Business Park

Zanesville, OH-  A groundbreaking ceremony took place for a speculative building project at the National Road Business Park.

The Marker Incorporated Project is supported by a $2 million Jobs Ohio Grant through the Ohio Site Inventory Program. The spec building is designed to accommodate a range of industrial and manufacturing specifications with over 200,000 square feet, 20 dock doors and a clear interior height of 32 feet. The building will sit on 11.5 acres.

The Ohio Site Inventory Program was established to created property within the state that isn’t being developed by the market, but that has proven demand and known economic benefit.

The Zanesville-Muskingum County Port Authority acquired the site where National Road Business Park is located in 2018. The development of the business park was supported by an over $3 million JobsOhio Spec Development Grant.

The project was also supported by a $4m loan through the rural industrial park loan.
