Guernsey Cty Crash Kills 1; Injures Several

A two-car crash in Guernsey County kills one person and sends several to the hospital.

According to the Cambridge Post of the Highway Patrol, the crash happened Friday night on US 40 between Cambridge and Old Washington.

A Kia Spectra driving west on US 40 hit a Volkswagen Jetta while trying to avoid hitting another vehicle that was pulling into a driveway.

The passenger of the Spectra, 20-year-old Kelsi Moore of Pleasant City, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Three others were taken to area hospitals for treatment and their conditions are unknown at this time. The crash remains under investigation.
