H1N1 Fraudulent Medicine

The Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers about buying any product over the Internet that claims to diagnose, treat or cure the H1N1 virus. The FDA says it purchased several products that posed as Tamiflu, one of the drugs used to treat H1N1, and found none of them to be the actual drug. The FDA warns that since the vaccine and drugs are in such high demand it makes it more vulnerable to counterfeiting. The FDA urges people to only buy medicine from a licensed pharmacy and contact their health care provider before taking any medicine.
