Harvey Jr. Sentenced on Rape Charges

A Zanesville man is sentenced to 8 years prison on rape charges. The Muskingum County Prosecutor’s Office says that 37-year-old Elmer Harvey Jr. plead guilty to two counts of rape in May. Two other counts of rape and one count of kidnapping were dropped at sentencing. Judge Kelly Cottrill also classified Harvey as a Tier III sex offender who must report to authorities every 90 days for the rest of his life once he is released from prison.
