Hazel M. Emmert

Hazel Mae Emmert, 87, passed away December 29, 2017. She was born August 5, 1930 in Zanesville to the late John and Edna Everly Brokaw. Hazel was employed as a secretary at Mosaic Tile and a layaway clerk at Harts. She formerly attended the Seventh Day Adventist Church and was a loving mother.

She is survived by a son Richard “Rick” (Candi) Emmert; a daughter Janet (Glenn) Tokos; four grandchildren: Crystal (Eric) Hertzfeld, Darcy (Steve) Bajko, Joseph Tokos and David Tokos; and three great grandchildren: Vivienne Hertzfeld, Calvin Bajko and Tyler Bajko.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Robert Franklin Emmert; and three brothers: John Brokaw, Bill Brokaw and Bob Brokaw.

Memorial contributions may be made to Genesis Hospice and Palliative Care, 713 Forest Avenue, Zanesville, OH 43701.
