Health Care Provider gets High Marks
The Zanesville Office of Interim Healthcare has received high marks from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
Interim received a 4.5 star quality rating on a 5 star scale. It’s the best ranking from Perry, Morgan and Muskingum Counties. Director of Business Development, Maribeth Lemon said the staff is the reason Zanesville achieved such a high ranking.
“I think we have excellent staff and our continuity of care,” Lemon said. “We are a full service provider, so we can look at the picture as a whole instead of pieces and parts, so staff and manager direction is excellent. So continuity of care, the same nurse starts the care and continues throughout the stay, so you have eyes on to know what the baseline is for that individual.”
Lemon said interim serves people from birth to death in many facets of life. While 4.5 is the best in the tri-county area, Interim Zanesville has the goal of improving for next quarter’s rating.
“We were very excited,” she said. “Now our goal is to get the 5, the 5 out of 5. Three is the standard average and we were just very pleased. It’s a very difficult task.”
