The Zanesville Highway Patrol says one person was flown by medical helicopter to the hospital after a two vehicle accident. It happened just after 11:00 Friday morning at the intersection of State Route 60 and County Road 616. Lt Matt Boyd says 26-year-old Rusty Opphile of Coshocton was driving east on County Road 616 when he failed to yield from a stop sign and was struck by a minivan. Boyd says that vehicle was driven by 60-year-old Donald Harney of Dresden. Opphile was flown from the scene to Grant Medial Center in Columbus. Harney was taken to Genesis Hospital by a Dresden Ambulance. Boyd says Opphile was not wearing a safety belt. The accident remains under investigation.
