Hocking County Homicide Under Investigation

Hocking County Sheriff Lanny North says a Sunday homicide in Laurelville is still under investigation but he hopes to have a suspect in custody soon.

The Hocking County Coroner is releasing details on the cause of death, saying 56-year-old Robert "Mike" Yoder died from blunt force trauma to the head.

Yoder’s wife, Dianne, came home from church Sunday around 1 p.m. and found him lying outside her home. North says deputies responded and ruled the incident the county’s first homicide this year.
