Holiday Leftovers
With all your holiday guests, it’s sometimes hard to figure out just how much food to cook. Now, some are left wondering what do do with all the leftovers.
Some people turn their holiday feast into an irresistible second meal while others just get sick of picking at all the leftovers. Some choose to eat out. Hostess Jamie Lasure from Adornetto’s says they’ve been swamped.
"People have had enough ham. We were extremely busy yesterday and we’ll probably be busy until next week when everyone goes home but people like to come in with their families and get the pizza people come home for," Jamie Lasure an Adornetto’s Server said.
Lasure says people are back home for the holidays so they like to get together and eat the food they grew up on. But other people simply don’t have any food leftover.
"I have 18 grandchildren and we don’t have any leftovers they eat the plates and the table and the napkins. So it would to nice to have left overs. I eat leftovers," Tom Russell said.
Lasure says her mom makes a huge meal during the holidays and she sends the leftovers home to all the family members and what’s left they freeze.
"My mom always make way too much ham so we wrap it up and freeze it and then we give it to however wants it," Lasure said.
