Holiday Open House at National Road & Zane Grey Museum

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Celebrating the holiday season at National Road and Zane Grey Museum for their Holiday Open House event.
Today from 1 to 4 p.m. the museum opened its doors to everyone to tour and check out their beautifully decorated trees throughout the museum. They offered fun activities for the children such as making pine cone bird feeders and a buckeye necklace. At 2 p.m. they had a music presentation by the JG Company.
“We really like to welcome people from the community to come in and join us, and partake in the holiday spirit,” said Director of Education For East Muskingum Museum Foundation, Betsy Taylor.
The Museum wanted to showcase the history and fun activities they had to offer all year round.
“It’s just a shame for this wonderful facility to be idle during any length of time. So we want to share,” Taylor added.
On Tuesday, December 11th at 6 p.m. the Museum will be hosting “Sounds of the Season Along the National Road” featuring the John Glenn High School String Sounds as an upcoming event open to the public.
