Homeless Hands of Zanesville Secured a Grant from the Straker Foundation

ZANESVILLE, OH – Homeless Hands of Zanesville has successfully secured a grant from the Straker Foundation.
Homeless Hands of Zanesville is a commendable non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of the homeless community. The J.W. & M.H. Straker Charitable Foundation has awarded Homeless Hands of Zanesville a $52,000 grant, making a positive impact on their ability to continue their work and make a difference.
“We help the homeless rebuild their lives and get off the street. Whether it’s jobs or employment, helping them with job applications, just whatever they need to get back into housing,” Homeless Hands of Zanesville Executive Director, Tammy Clark said.
The Straker Foundations generous grant has empowered Homeless Hands of Zanesville to make renovations to the outside of their building, which is set to become a vital community outreach center. It’s a big step towards addressing the needs of the community and making a positive impact in Zanesville.
“We were really happy to be able to give this $52,000 to Homeless Hands because homelessness and people who are unhoused is a cause that we are passionate about and something that we have really tried to remediate in Muskingum County as a whole,” Executive Director and President of the Straker Foundation, Susan Holdren said.
