Hoskinson Murder Trial Starts/Morgan County

A murder trial started Monday in Morgan County Common Pleas Court. 38-year-old Stephanie Hoskinson of McConnelsville is charged with aggravated murder, aggravated arson, aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary in the death of 49-year-old Rodney Spencer in his McConnelsville home in 2008. Monday morning jury selection took place. Two co-defendants, Christopher Boarder and Christopher Clark have already pleaded guilty to murder and aggravated arson and have been sentenced to 18 years in prison. Hoskinson is accused of being invited into Spencer’s home on Dale Street and when a dispute broke out, Spencer was beaten unconscious and then his house was set on fire.
