House of Grace To Offer Child Care

House of Grace is offering a new service to the children in our community.

A day care will be opening and they are now taking enrollment for 24 students ages three to five. It is on a first come, first serve basis. Dunlap told us more about the daycare.

“[We have] class work, we have smart boards for the children to learn from.” Said Dunlap, “They’ll be using a curriculum with all the different toys and all the different things that they’ll be teaching.”

All of the teachers are state certified. You can pay for the daycare out of pocket or through Family and Children’s Services. Dunlap explained more about the purpose behind the service.

“We want to take the burden off of the community.” Said Dunlap, “They’re trying to get back into the work force. When they’re working, money going out in day care, money going out in childcare. This will be able to help relieve them because the State will help them with the pay on having childcare here at Grace Daycare.”
