HS Hoops: Sheridan Plasters Johnstown, Zanesville Wins Final Tune-Up

On a relatively slow Monday night, there were some impressive performances from area teams. The Sheridan Generals started strong against the Johnstown Johnnies, and never looked back. Doug Fisher’s girls keeping the pedal on the floor, winning 64-24. Kristy Swinehart leading all scorers with 19 points, including the Generals’ first 9. Meanwhile at Winland gymnasium, the Zanesville Blue Devil boys looked impressive, beating Thomas Worthington 69-43. Tanner Gibson had a game high 20, while Raheem Foreman added 11
