Hydrant Flushing Wednesday

Residents in some areas of Zanesville can expect to experience discolored water and reduced pressure on Wednesday.

This is because the Zanesville Fire Department will be flushing hydrants in the area of Pearl Street, Keen Street, State Street, Western Avenue, Blue Avenue, Lee Street, Walnut Street and all side streets in the area.

Flushing will be from 7:3am-2:30pm.

It’s advised to wait until after 4pm for the water to clear before doing laundry.
