Indictments in Brighton Blvd. Drug Bust
A Muskingum County Grand Jury on Wednesday indicted two Zanesville men arrested in a recent drug bust.
Assistant Prosecutor Ron Welch says 28-year-old Rodriquez Hampton has been charged with possession of cocaine with a gun specification and having a weapon while under disability.
Hampton is also facing aggravated burglary, kidnapping and domestic violence charges stemming from an alleged assault in March at a home on Homewood Avenue.
Welch says 20-year-old Deondre Crosby was also indicted Wednesday on a possession of cocaine charge.
Both Hampton and Crosby were arrested last Thursday during a drug bust at 170 1/2 Brighton Boulevard where authorities say they recovered crack cocaine, handguns and a large sum of cash.
Both men are scheduled to be arraigned next Wednesday.
