James Lee Seevers (January 28, 1941 – August 6, 2011)

James Lee Seevers, 70, of Zanesville, died at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2011 at Genesis Good Samaritan emergency room. He was born January 28, 1941, in Cambridge, Ohio, a son of the late Max and Cora Shook Seevers. Jim retired from the Muskingum County Home and was a twenty year member of the Harrison Twp. Fire Department. He was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church.

Surviving are a brother-in-law, William (Lynne) McGurr of Wheaton, IL.; a sister-in-law, Sherie McGurr of Renton, Washington and three nieces.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Seevers, who died July 2, 2000; three brothers; and two sisters.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. till time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Bolin-Dierkes Funeral Home, 1271 Blue Avenue, Zanesville with Mr. William Meaige officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife Patricia at Mt. Olive Cemetery, Zanesville.
