Jamison Sentenced on Drug Charges

A Zanesville man who pleaded guilty to four counts of drug trafficking learned his fate Monday. 33-year-old John Jamison the 4th went before Muskingum County Common Pleas Judge Mark Fleegle was sentenced to 4 years in prison. Zanesville Police say Jamison was charged in connection to a drug raid in August of 2014 at 1329 Pallas Avenue. Chief Kenneth Miller says officers discovered crack cocaine, money and two guns when they searched the home. Two counts of having a weapon while under disability and one count of possession of drugs was dismissed at sentencing.
