Jaycee’s Club to hold Red Ball Golf Tournament

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – The Zanesville Jaycee’s Club is scheduled to hold their annual Red Ball Golf Tournament at the end of this month.
The Jaycee’s use this tournament to raise money for their “Christmas For Kids’ event. Anyone can sponsor or sign up for a team.
Sean Brady, the Vice President of the Jaycee’s Club, said the Red Ball Tournament is 100 percent proceeds back to their ‘Christmas For Kids’ program.
“It starts at 10 a.m. Sunday, the 25th of September. In December, we’ll pick a few kids that are deserving of some gifts from our local family and jobs services,†said Brady.
The Jaycee’s Club works closely with Muskingum County Job and Family Services. They are paired with a child, and will take them shopping in December to buy gifts for their family members.
“We take the kids to buy presents for their family members…their grandparents, parents, brothers, and sisters. When it’s all finished, we surprise them with Santa Claus and buy them a gift as well,†said Brady.
The tournament is held at the Zanesville Jaycee’s Golf Course. They are still looking for sponsors and teams to play. Check out their website at www.zanesvillejaycees.org for more information.
