Job Fair at Muskingum County Welcome Center

ZANESVILLE, Ohio – Muskingum County Ohio Means Jobs and the Zanesville – Muskingum County Chamber Of Commerce are hosting their annual job fair.

The job fair will be March 21, 2017 from 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at the Muskingum County Welcome Center. Muskingum County Ohio Means Jobs, Supervisor Julie Metzger said for those needing to find a job and will be attending should act and dress for success.

“Job seekers will want to be prepared when they come to the job fair they want to make sure they have their resume with them,” Metzger said. “They want to be dressed appropriately for an interview, because they probably will be doing interviews there on the spot. A lot of times the employer will kind of do a mini interview at the job fair and then call them back at a later date.”

Metzger said there are already 30 actively hiring employers that will be attending the job fair and they’ll be looking for a specific type of person.

“They’re looking for professional people, people who when they are speaking to they’re letting them know that they are going to be to work on time, they are going to be there every day, and they’re going to be motivated and dedicated while they are on the job,” said Metzger.

The Zanesville – Muskingum County Chamber Of Commerce website, zmchamber.com will also have information in their calendar.
