John Glenn’s Rackley Reopens Recruitment

John Glenn guard Drew Rackley is back on the recruiting trail. The D-II state tournament’s most outstanding player confirmed that he has received a full release from Virginia Military Institute and reopened his recruitment.

“It lifts a lot of weight off my shoulders and it feels good to be able to reopen my recruitment,” Rackley said in a phone interview.

The two-time first-team All-Ohioan committed to the Keydets in October over Maine, Air Force, Cornell and Nova Southeastern.

Rackley led John Glenn to the school’s first state title in March, scoring 25 points and grabbing 11 rebounds in a 76-72 triumph over St. Vincent-St. Mary.
