John Glenn’s Slack chooses Mount Union

John Glenn shooting guard Tanner Slack–one of the key components to the Muskies’ state championship run–will continue his basketball career at D-III University of Mount Union.

Slack picked the Purple Raiders over D-II schools Ashland and Malone, D-III schools Muskingum, Marietta, Heidelberg and Wittenberg and NAIA university Mount Vernon Nazarene.

Slack was honorable mention All-Ohio, second team all-district and first team All-MVL in his senior season, scoring 15 points on 6-of-10 shooting in the championship game. He will major in exercise science while joining a Purple Raider team that put together an 18-9 record last season.
