John Rollins

John Edward Rollins, 77, of Zanesville died at 6:35 AM Saturday, July 20, 2024, at his home under hospice care.
He was born on Monday, May 5, 1947, in Athens, Ohio the son of Homer Rollins and Forrest Ruth Sheppard Rollins.
John was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War and retired from Alvan Motor Freight, formerly Putnam Transfer as a truck driver after many years of service. He was a member of the VFW, along with his wife he enjoyed traveling, Motorcycle riding, Boating, Golf and was an avid Buckeye Fan.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Boykin Rollins; a daughter, Dedra “Dedi” D. (Wesley) Noland and a son, Todd E. (Michele) Rollins; Grandchildren, Cole (Jaycie) Cameron, Lauren Rollins and Ty Rollins; two great granddaughters, Callie Cameron and Maddie Cameron; a brother, Dennis (Patsy) Rollins and a sister-in-law, Carol Rollins, and many nieces & nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Ronnie Rollins.
Per John’s request, there will be no public visitation or funeral services observed.
