Johnstown Woman Killed in Crash

A 23-year-old Johnstown woman is dead following a crash last night on State Route 37.

The Granville Post of the State Highway Patrol says around 9:15 Sunday, Rebekah Gorsuch was driving eastbound on State Route 37 in St. Albans Township when she went off the right-side of the road, struck a mailbox and guardrail, before coming to rest against a tree.

Gorsuch was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two passengers in the car 17-year-old Abigail Gorsuch and 17-year-old Megan Hyde, both of Johnstown, were transported to Grant and Ohio State University hospitals.

The crash remains under investigation.
